Our first week of Second Grade has been great. The students are all so sweet and I can't wait to get to know them better throughout the year. We started off the week with some get to know you activities. We have talked about what Reader's Workshop looks like, what Writer's Workshop looks like and Real Reading vs. Fake Reading. In Math we have learned doubles, near doubles, and bridge to 10. It has been a busy week and we are looking forward to many more weeks of learning new things. Enjoy your long weekend.
